Seattle AWIS and Northwest Science Writers Association (NSWA) invites you to join us for our December event, with Dr. Caitlin Gamble, PhD, Head of Informatics & Sr. Scientist, Lumen Bioscience, Inc.

About Dr. Gamble
Dr. Caitlin Gamble is the Head of Informatics and a Senior Scientist at Lumen Bioscience, a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering the use of spirulina (blue-green food algae) as a platform for low-cost and broadly accessible biologics. Dr. Gamble completed her MBA and PhD in molecular biology at University of Washington Genome Sciences. Working at the intersection of science, operations, and technology, Dr. Gamble helps drive projects throughout Lumen’s drug development pipeline. She recently spearheaded a successful collaboration with Google Accelerated Science to optimize spirulina-based therapeutics production by machine learning.
